PEP Thriving with Teens

For Parents of Teens Ages 13 - 18


This class incorporates most of the concepts used in PEP l and PEP ll. It is designed, however, to meet the needs of parents of teens. PEP Thriving with Teens teaches:

  • An understanding of the role you play in your teen's life
  • Realistic ways to help teens move toward responsible independence
  • Ways to create mutually respectful relationships
  • Effective communication strategies
  • The use of discipline in ways that foster growth and maturity

Course length: Ten weeks.

Maryland Class Schedule:

Washington DC Class Schedule:
# 432 Tuesdays 7:30 - 9:30 pm  •  Temple Micah, Washington DC  • 10/12/10 - 12/14/10


Course Fee: Nonmembers: $225/person; $417/couple
PEP members: $198/person; $385/couple

Preparing to Launch Support Groups

For Parents of High School Juniors and Seniors


PEP Leader Wendie Lubic (AKA The College Lady) will be offering her popular monthly support group for the parents of high school students going through the college application and gap year decision process. Parents may attend one or more sessions (no prerequisite.) The instructor will be sending out emails to interested families. To join this mailing list, please send your email address to the PEP office.
