PEP Class for Youth
Super Sitters Class and Lab
For Young People Ages 10 and Up
CLASS: Tuesdays, July 5, 12, and 19, 2011
6:30 - 9:00pm
This three session class teaches prospective sitters the skills of:
- Communicating with parents
- Winning cooperation of the children in their care
- Preventing and handling emergencies
- Tailoring their approach to meet the changing needs of children as they grow
NOTE: The law requires a sitter to be at least age 13 when on his or her own. Ages 10 - 12 can be parents' helpers.

Sitters are encouraged to practice their new skills one evening in a learning lab where they will be sitting for young children under the supervision of the instructor. Students need to pre-register for the weekend evening of their choice. Available on first come, first served basis.
